A day In The Lot: Saint-Cirq-Lapopie And Cahors

Lot: Saint-Cirq-Lapopie And Cahors

At the end of May, we spent a few days in the south-west with my parents and my mother kept Noah a day for us to make a romantic walk.
We took the opportunity to visit Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, a pretty medieval village in the Lot perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Lot, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
I had only sandals and it was not the most suitable shoes to visit the village, with the small cobbled streets going up and down. Fortunately Noah was not with us, he would never have wanted to walk!

We arrived at the end of the morning and it was already very hot, we strolled an hour before lunch on the terrace at the restaurant Le Cantou. It is a pity that we were not in the evening at sunset, the light would have been more beautiful for the photos and it would have been more pleasant to walk in the cool.
We wanted to go kayaking in the afternoon but everything was complete, so we found, not without difficulty, a spot of fishermen near the Lot to refresh us. We were looking for a beach but at the Tourist Office, the trainee did not know how to tell us, so we took the cross-roads in the hope of finding a spot and it is in Saint-Géry found a quiet spot in the shade.
